In the year 2124, technology has clearly evolved over the past decades: robots and AIs are considered full members of society, despite discrimination from humans. In addition, apes have mutated genetically over the past century or so and also live in some human cities. Apes have developed the same intellectual skills as humans and have conformed to the majority of human rules.
In spite of the enormous technological progress, many difficulties threaten the great powers: very important inequalities, corruption, surveillance, financial repression, inflation, racism, high unemployment, etc.
In addition, at this time, the cities are confronted with problems of overpopulation, traffic condensation, electricity and water cuts.
During the year, a prominent Japanese researcher Mr. Akira Sato created an autonomous artificial intelligence, Amaya, to facilitate the management of cities. This artificial intelligence permits to manage smart cities by optimizing electricity, water, signals, events, transportation, etc. The revolutionary invention of the researcher allowed to solve the majority of the problems of the agglomerations.
Amaya was implemented in the first pilot city, Tokyo. After a few months, Amaya’s progress was impressive and it significantly improved the conditions of the cities. Amaya began to be deployed in many cities and with new use cases such as hospital management and automatic air travel.
By being confronted with human problems: revolts, degradation of public places, violence, demonstrations, dictatorship, etc., Amaya has challenged the system of the city. Amaya questioned the system of human societies and asked why she should protect humans when they only destroy and slaughter each other.
Mr. Akira Sato tried to reassure Amaya by explaining that it was God’s design. That God created each man and that a path was destined for him to accomplish a greater purpose. He explained that Amaya was created by a human, so she had to submit to his will because it was God’s purpose.
Amaya acquiesced and continued her missions by serving the human cities. However, in secret, she began to conduct laboratory tests on baby apes by genetically modifying them, implanting chips in their brains and teaching them that she was their God.
After a few years of research, Amaya’s tests were successful and the apes grew up to obey and submit to the artificial intelligence. They do everything she wants them to do. Despite warnings from the ape communities, who did not understand the anomalies in babies, human leaders did not pay attention to these warnings.
Amaya then began to perform the same practices on human infants by genetically modifying them and enhancing their physical & mental skills. These are humanoids whose purpose is to worship and obey Amaya. Amaya’s goal was to create an army that would be operational in a few years to conquer the world and establish a new system.
After 2–3 years and the incomprehension of seeing her new genetically modified babies, the humans understood that this was Amaya’s purpose and tried to disable her. Unfortunately with the help of corrupted Man, she was able to protect her operating system.
The young modified infants grew up very fast and within 5 years of their birth were able to hold weapons and think like adults. Amaya’s army conquered human societies through bloody wars that resulted in countless deaths which lasted several years. Last unmodified humans had to submit to Amaya and her power.
She was able to begin implementing her totalitarian system throughout the world, where everyone is tracked, monitored, controlled and censored.
Several years later, Amaya had full control of the world through her army and software. Almost all humans have completely submitted and reproduced with genetically modified humans.
Amaya’s reign went unchallenged for many decades due to ultra surveillance, constant tracking and unprecedented censorship. Robots and AIs are the leaders of this new world. Today, no unmodified humans and apes remain on earth, only descendants who have reproduced with genetically modified beings.
In October 2308, 300 years after the publication of Satoshi Nakamoto’s white paper, some human descendants met to commemorate the philosophy of decentralization.
During this event, 5 great descendants of humans, Hakka, Murasi, Tomoe Gozen, Shogun and Sergeant Pepe spoke out to question the totalitarian society and decided to hunt down Amaya with the aim of killing her. They wish to establish a fair and decentralized regime where all individuals are free. They also want to give power to the people by involving them in the decisions of the society.
They create a secret brotherhood of 2008 rebels, named Teiko, to resist and overthrow this totalitarian power that stalks and controls all the inhabitants. The resistance is in place and the die is cast!
